Summer Internships
Oxy offers summer internships at multiple locations to students with educational backgrounds in Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, Petrochemical, and Electrical Engineering; Geophysics and Geology; Land Management; and HSE. We also offer a limited number of internships for students with backgrounds in other disciplines, such as Human Resources.
Internships at Oxy are stepping stones to permanent industry careers, fusing occupation and education in a hands-on, learn-as-you-work atmosphere. Interns are treated much like newly hired employees, and the contributions they make can be significant. Our internships assess your potential long-term career fit within our organization and allow you to determine if Oxy is right for you.
